Aa Gaya Pakistan Ka Damad: Sunny Deol-Amisha Patel’s Ghadar 2 Teaser Starts On A Tremendous Note

New Delhi: The 2001 blockbuster Gadar: Ek Prem Katha starring Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Amrish Puri was re-released today at Juhu PVR in Mumbai. The film, which tells the story of a truck driver, Tara Singh, and his fight to win back his Pakistani wife, clashed with Oscar-nominated Lagaan at the box-office. Director Anil Sharma and the producers are leaving no stone unturned to make it a grand-event as they have invited actors Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, and their families – Amrish Puri and Anand Bakshi.

Also, according to TOI, at the end of ‘Gadar 2’, the makers have attached the teaser of the second installment of the movie ‘Gadar 2’. According to the website, the teaser will begin with a powerful dialogue in a woman’s voice that goes like, “Damad hai yeh Pakistan ka, isko nariyaal do, tilak lagak warna lahore le jayega.” TOI reported that the teaser is packed with lots of action sequences, powerful dialogues and emotions.

Sunny Deol-Amisha Patel Gadar 2 teaser

Gadar 2 has Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma in lead roles. The film is slated to release on August 11, 2023. The story of the film revolves around Tara Singh, who returns to Pakistan to bring back his son Charanjit during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. The film also stars Simrat Kaur, Luv Sinha, Manish Wadhwa, Gaurav Chopra and others.

‘Gadar 2’ was officially announced by the makers on October 15, 2021. The first poster of the sequel titled ‘Gadar 2’ was unveiled on 26 January 2023 and features Tara Singh, played by Sunny with a hammer.
