Mumbai: Adivi Sesh starrer ‘Major’ has completed 1 year today. To mark this special occasion, they reminisced and spent the whole day with Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s family. Taking to Instagram, Adivi shared a string of pictures of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s parents. ‘Major’ depicts the real-life story of Sandeep Unnikrishnan and the tragic events of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Directed by Sashi Karan Tikka, ‘Major’ also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Sai Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murali Sharma.
In the film, Adivi plays the role of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who sacrificed his life fighting terrorists and rescuing 14 hostages at the Taj Mahal Hotel.
And this biopic certainly created a very special bond with Sesh, who is keeping this legacy alive by staying close to the family. Even on the first anniversary of the film, Sesh spent the day with Sandeep’s family in Bengaluru and wrote a heartfelt note about the film along with some beautiful pictures from that day.
Sharing the pictures, she wrote, “I had darshan with Amma and Uncle on Major’s 1 year anniversary. Amma cooked some amazing food despite her shoulder pain. Their love has done everything for me. Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan blessed me and changed me. “Major the film is my most memorable film and I thank Mahesh sir, our wonderful producers, our wonderful director, the hard working team, our actors who gave great performances and most of all the audience. I want to thank you. The love and respect you have given us is immeasurable. I owe you from the bottom of my heart. This honor is forever. Jai Hind!”
Major has won the hearts of millions of viewers, and Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s portrayal of Adivi Sesh has been highly praised. Bankrolled by Sony Pictures International Productions, GMB Entertainment Pvt Limited and A+S Movies, ‘Major’ was released on June 3, 2022 in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam.
Talking about the work front, Sesh will be seen in ‘G2’ and the shooting of the film will start soon.
