New Delhi: Actress Alia Bhatt won the Best Performance (Female) award for her film ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ at the IIFA 2023 on Saturday.
The 30-year-old actor was not present to accept his award in person. On Sunday, the ‘Brahmastra’ actress took to her Instagram account and shared a picture on her stories, which she captioned, “Thank you so much @iifa. Sorry, I was in person to receive the award. If reports are to be believed, Alia left the event due to a family emergency. Alia’s maternal grandfather Narendra Razdan’s health is not good.
Producer Jayantilal Gada received the award on behalf of Alia.
