AMD introduced its new generation RDNA 4 architecture based Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9060 graphics cards at CES 2025 this month. These cards are based on 4nm process and come with AI-enhanced FSR 4 technology, which brings major improvements in performance and AI capabilities.

The specialty of the new series is that it has been named in line with AMD Ryzen 9000 series CPUs. Also, the names of the models have been simplified and competitive to compete with Nvidia’s product series. For example, the RX 9070 will compete with Nvidia’s “70” series models, while the RX 9060 will be equivalent to Nvidia’s “60” series models.

AMD plans to launch the new series of GPUs in the first quarter of 2025. With these new models, AMD is going to take another big step in the technological competition.
