Having seen success at its flagship stores in Delhi and Mumbai, it wants to add to the bouquet with new outlets in Bengaluru and Pune, Delhi-NCR, and another in Mumbai. This will mark an important step in Apple’s overall strategy to grow its presence in India, one of its fastest-growing markets.

Why India?

The Indian market has been one of the fast-moving markets for tech giants. The revenue generated by the company in the country has been rising, and it is increasing at around 33% each year. Thereby the high demand for premium products, such as iPhones and MacBooksโ€‹, contributed for most of the growth.

The company has already established the current network of Apple stores in both Delhi and Mumbai. It is said that more than 20% of the revenue generated by the company comes from these two centers. Such consumer enthusiasm makes Apple rush on retail expansion.

The stores by Apple are constructed to provide a transactional experience beyond that. Customers here can interact with products, get expert guidance, and attend various workshops designed within these stores. As announced by Deirdre O’Brien, Senior Vice President of Retail at Apple, the company is looking forward to connecting closer to customers in India and granting them access to the entire range of products and services of Apple.

Made in India: iPhone 16 Pro Series

In addition, the firm is strengthening its manufacturing ties with India besides expanding its retail footprint. It has unveiled the iPhone 16 Pro and the Pro Max in India. A move like this signifies the extent of the levels of India’s involvement with Apple’s global supply chain. These will be put together by manufacturing partners Foxconn and Pegatron both for the home and international markets.

Clearly, Apple is targeting not only sales but also integration into the economy through retail and manufacturing ahead of opening four more stores in India. Indian buyers may feel bright chances will be there to get access to these range of Apple products and services easily.
