Goertek Receives NPI for Two New Apple Products; Apple’s Business Expected to Grow from 2025
Apple is now preparing to launch new AirPods equipped with smart home IP camera and health features, whose production will start in 2026. In this direction, Apple has chosen Goertek as its key supply partner. Goertek has received NPI (New Product Introduction) for both these products, which is a major achievement for the company.
Smart Home IP Camera: Apple’s New Step
Apple plans to launch its first smart home IP camera in 2026. This device will be able to be connected with other Apple products via wireless connectivity, giving users an integrated usage experience. Currently, the global smart home IP camera market has an annual turnover of 30–40 million units, and Apple aims to achieve shipments of more than 10 million units from this camera.
This move makes Apple’s intention to expand in the home market clear. This smart home camera will work with HomeKit Secure Video, in which all video data will be end-to-end encrypted. Users will be able to access their camera from anywhere through iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. This new device from Apple will be different and safer than other cameras in the market in terms of privacy and security.
New AirPods with Health Focus
AirPods are now being focused on making it not just a music accessory but a health monitoring device. Apple has already made a big breakthrough in health care technology through Apple Watch, and now health management features are being added to AirPods as well. With the help of these new health features, users will be able to take better care of their fitness and health.
Goertek has received the NPI for this new model to be launched in 2026, making it the major supplier of the new AirPods. AirPods shipments are also expected to grow in the coming years, with shipments expected to grow from 48 million units in 2023 to 65–68 million units by 2026.

This partnership is special for Goertek in many ways. In the past few years, Apple had suspended its relationship with Goertek due to supply-related problems. But, now the relationship between the two has improved from the second half of 2024 and Apple has expressed confidence in Goertek and assigned it NPI for two major products. This partnership can put Goertek back on the growth path, giving the company new opportunities with Apple and its business is expected to pick up pace again from 2025.
