Barmer: Two people were burnt alive in a road accident

Jaipur. Two persons were burnt alive in a road accident in Rajasthan’s Barmer district late on Tuesday night.

According to the police, the accident took place late on Tuesday night on the Mega Highway in Sindhari police station area when a tanker full of chemicals rammed into a roadside dhaba and caught fire.

Sindhi SHO Surinder Kumar said that the driver of the tanker, Nimbaram, lost control of the vehicle and it rammed into a roadside dhaba. The tanker caught fire and the driver was trapped in the cabin.

He said that the dhaba owner Bhanvaram also got trapped inside and both were burnt alive. He said that the fire was brought under control early in the morning. Two other shops near the dhaba were also damaged in this incident.
