The BFI appointed Warburton as sub-junior coach

New Delhi The Boxing Federation of India on Friday appointed John Warburton as the coach of India’s sub-junior team to focus on the development of the sport at the grassroots level.

With over four decades of coaching experience, Warburton has been associated with the game in England since 1984. He is currently the Head of Boxing at JSW Inspire Institute of Sport in Bellary, Karnataka.

He has been instrumental in grooming India’s talented boxers Manju Bomboria, Manisha Moon and Nishant Dev.
