Bollywood Update: Akshay Kumar visited Lord Kedarnath

Rudraprayag (Uttrakhand). Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar visited Kedarnath temple on Tuesday.

Sri Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee Chief Executive Officer Yogendra Singh said that Kumar along with his family friend Sumit Adalka reached Kedarnath by helicopter in the morning and visited Lord Kedarnath like a normal pilgrim.

From the helipad, the film actor reached the temple barefoot without wearing shoes where he visited Bhole Baba and participated in the puja. On this occasion, the Singhs presented Baba Kedarnath’s Prasad, Bhasam and Rudraksha garland on behalf of the temple committee.

He also congratulated the devotees present in the temple complex. A large number of devotees are arriving these days to visit Kedarnath Dham located at a height of 11750 feet in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand. Since the opening of the temple doors on April 25 till Friday, 4 lakh 52 thousand 84 devotees have visited Lord Kedar.
