Internet desk. A major train accident took place in Odisha’s Balasore on Friday night. So far 233 people have died in this accident while more than 900 passengers are said to be injured. The number of dead and injured is feared to increase as the work of evacuating people from the trains is going on.

According to media reports, the accident took place near Bahanga Bazar station in Balasore. It is being told that Kolkata to Chennai Coromandel Express and Yeshwantpur-Howrah Express derailed near Bahanaga. After this the Coromandel train collided with a freight train. People died in it.

Along with this, the Prime Minister of the country has expressed grief after the accident. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the train accident in Odisha’s Balasore. He has expressed his grief through tweet. The President has also expressed grief over this accident. Meanwhile, the CM of the state, Naveen Patnaik, has announced a day of official mourning in the state after this accident.
