Delhi Rape Case: A minor was raped by a distant relative in Delhi, she became pregnant

New Delhi A 16-year-old girl in Delhi was allegedly raped by her distant relative, after which she became pregnant. The police gave this information on Wednesday.

He said that this incident came to light on Tuesday when the girl reached the hospital after complaining of stomach pain. Her medical examination revealed that she is six weeks pregnant. According to police, Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) counseled the minor. She alleged that she was sexually assaulted by a man from Uttar Pradesh, who is a distant relative of hers.

She also claimed that the accused had come to her house in Delhi and sexually assaulted her there as well. A case under the relevant sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act is being registered and investigation is being done.
