According to the IMD, the maximum temperature in Delhi is likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius on Thursday, while gusty winds are likely during the day.

According to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, the national capital recorded an overall air quality index (AQI) of 186 at 9 am on Thursday, which falls in the moderate category.
