It’s been 25 years since the Shah Rukh Khan, Karisma Kapoor, and Madhuri Dixit starrer Dil Te Pagal Hai hit the theatres. This film has remained a favorite of people till date. While the songs and dialogues of the film are still famous, how can we forget the epic dance battle between Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor? And guess what, the actresses had a mini-reunion. In a video shared on Instagram, the two are seen dancing to desi beats, Karisma has shared a video with Madhuri which has an interesting caption, ‘Dance of Friendship’. In the video, the two can be seen perfectly synchronized. Although the actress did not add any music to the video, it looks like they were trying to imitate the Le Gei Le Gei hook step.
Karisma Kapoor has also shared some pictures of herself and Madhuri. While Madhuri was seen in a long printed dress with a belt, Karishma wore a dark colored salwar kurta with a pair of sunglasses. Both wore their hair in a bun, with minimal make-up. The caption reads, “Jealous friendship dance.” Kareena Kapoor was the first to comment below the post. The actress wrote, “OG superstars.” Actor Sanjay Kapoor added heart and evil eye emojis. Bhumi Pednekar called him an “icon”. Tamannaah Bhatia dropped the heart-eye emoji. Fans shared their excitement to see their favorite actresses reunited in the video.
Dil To Pagal Hai starred Karisma Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit in lead roles alongside Shah Rukh Khan. In the film, the actresses danced to an instrumental piece called ‘Dance of Jealousy’. The film was a huge hit and still remains a fan favourite.
Madhuri Dixit was last seen in the Amazon Prime Video film Maja Maa. He next has The Fame Game Season 2 in the pipeline. On the other hand Karisma Kapoor has Murder Mubarak in the pipeline along with Sanjay Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan. He also has Brown: The First Case.
