Fact Check: Kerala Story Makers So Far Refused To Release Film On OTT Platform, No Date Announced

New Delhi: The recently released box office phenomenon ‘The Kerala Story’ has marked one of the biggest successes since the pandemic. While the film is gaining love worldwide, it is outdoing itself at the box office every day. The film is currently in its third week and the makers are yet to decide on a digital platform for its OTT release. However, it is being heard that the film is yet to premiere on OTT.

Talking about this, a Sunshine Pictures spokesperson said, “Kerala Story Makers is yet to finalize an OTT partner to release the film. All news that says otherwise is completely fake. ”

The film is impressively leaving its mark on the hearts of the audience, as well as earning well and creating a reputation for itself globally.

Currently, several OTT giants are in the race to buy the movie rights. While ‘The Kerala Story’ has crossed the Rs 225 crore mark at the Indian box office, the film is still catering to audiences across the country. People across the world are praising filmmaker Vipul Amritlal Shah for his bold decision to expose the true events.

Kerala Story is produced, developed and distributed by Sunshine Pictures owned by Vipul Amritlal Shah. Adah Sharma is leading the cast along with Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani and Siddhi Idanani. Kerala Story is bankrolled by Sunshine Pictures Private Limited, founded by Vipul Amritlal Shah who is the producer, creative director and co-writer of the film, co-produced by Ashin A Shah and Sudeepto Directed by Sen.
