French Open 2023: Monfils withdraws from French Open due to wrist injury

Paris. The five-set first-round victory overcame Gael Monfils, who was out of the French Open with a left wrist injury.

With Monfils out, sixth seed Holger Rooney is through to the third round. The 36-year-old Frenchman said he has injured his left wrist and will be out of the tournament.
