Girl’s murder: ‘AAP’ raised questions on law and order, announced to give 10 lakhs to the victim’s family

On the incident of the girl’s murder, the senior leader of the party, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Deputy Governor V.K. Saxena said on Tuesday and said that the people of Delhi have lost faith in the city’s law and order.

A 16-year-old girl was allegedly stabbed to death multiple times by her boyfriend and then crushed to death with a stone in Northwest Delhi’s Shahbad Dairy area, police said. Bystanders remained mute spectators throughout the entire incident. Bhardwaj tweeted on Tuesday, “Girl brutally murdered in Shahbad Dairy, why don’t people help?” People of Delhi have lost faith in law and order.

The police who used force on women wrestlers and Manish Sisodia look helpless in front of these killers. The problem is in leadership. The lieutenant governor’s priority is something else. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi met the girl’s parents on Tuesday. The Delhi government has also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh to the girl’s family.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, “Delhi government will provide Rs 10 lakh to the family of the witness and will try hard to get the accused punished by the court, appealing on Monday to field the best lawyers in the case. Strict action should be taken.
