Honor Magic V2 Flip Specs Revealed for the First Time, June Launch Expected
Honor is preparing to launch several new smartphones in the Chinese market in the coming months, including the Honor 400 series, Honor GT Pro and new foldable devices Magic V4 and Magic V2 Flip. Recently, a leak revealed details about the Magic V4, but now for the first time the specifications of the Honor Magic V2 Flip have also been leaked.
Honor Magic V2 Flip Specifications
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Honor Magic V2 Flip will have a customized LTPO display and will be powered by the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. However, no detailed information has been revealed about other specifications yet.
For reference, last year’s Honor Magic V Flip featured had a 6.8-inch foldable LTPO OLED display and was launched with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Therefore, the Magic V2 Flip is expected to feature an upgraded display and enhanced performance.
Honor Magic V4 Specifications
Honor Magic V4 will get an approximately 8-inch customized LTPO internal foldable display. For security, it will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. In China, it will compete with Oppo Find N5, which is likely to get a 7-core version of Snapdragon 8 Elite. However, the Magic V4 is expected to come with a standard 8-core variant.
Talking about the camera department, the Magic V4 will have a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a telephoto camera. Although the telephoto lens may not be flagship-grade, it is expected to include a periscope telephoto lens for enhanced zoom photography.
With this generation, Honor is also focusing on making its foldable device slimmer. The Magic V4 will be thinner than its previous version Magic V3, which was 9.2mm thick.
Launch Timeline
Honor is expediting the launch of its new foldable devices. According to the leak, both the Honor Magic V2 Flip and Magic V4 can be launched by June 2025.
