New Delhi: Actors Hrithik Roshan and Vicky Kaushal shared a fun moment at the IIFA Awards 2023 in Abu Dhabi on Saturday night.
During the grand awards function, the duo took to the stage to belt out the iconic song ‘Ek Pal Ka Jeena’ from the romantic film Kaho Naa…Pyar Hai and the fans were not pacified. Several videos of the two artists dancing to the song have surfaced on social media, in which the ‘Sanju’ actor can be seen imitating the hook-step of Hrithik’s ‘Ek Pal Ka Jeena’.
He, later, bowed before the ‘Krrish’ actor as a gesture of respect. Soon after the videos went viral, fans swapped the comments section with red hearts and fire emoticons. “Amazinggggg,” commented one fan. Another fan wrote, “Greek God.” “No one can match his energy level. I feel so positive when I see Hrithik dance,” wrote a fan. One user wrote, “Wowwwwwww…….”
Hrithik won the trophy for Best Actor in a Leading Role at IIFA 2023. He received the trophy for his action-packed performance in ‘Vikram Vedha’, which also starred Saif Ali Khan.
In his acceptance speech, Hrithik said, “I have been living with Vedha for many years. It started here in Abu Dhabi. I gave my first shot as Vedha here… It feels like life. has come full circle for me. I unleash the madness inside me that I didn’t know existed. Thank you Universe and Vedha for helping me discover that madness and hold on to that madness. Helped me discover strength.”
“I love you…I will never take you for granted,” he added.
On the other hand, Vicky hosted the award function with actor Abhishek Bachchan on Saturday.
She will next be seen in the romantic film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke opposite actress Sara Ali Khan. The film is all set to hit the theaters on June 2.
