Hyundai Venue Adventure Edition Launched in India: Price, Features, Specifications & More
Hyundai has unveiled an all-new variant for the very popular compact SUV, Venue Adventure Edition, targeting adventure lovers in India. Launched in September 2024, this edition comes with rugged styling and added features that are intended for adventure-seekers. Here’s the key feature set, specification, and pricing.
Hyundai Venue Adventure Edition – Features
The Adventure Edition stands out because of cosmetic changes to the vehicle and a blacked-out theme, giving it the rugged look of an adventurer. That includes all of these:
- Black-painted alloy wheels
- Black skid plates and roof rails
- Red-painted front brake calipers
- Adventure Edition badge sport on the front fender
- Rugged door cladding
- Shark-fin antenna and black ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors)
Inside, it sports a dark theme with sage green accents to give it a little zest. Seats have Adventure Edition exclusive upholstery; alongside are 3D adventure-themed mats and sporty metal pedals. There is now also a dual-camera dashcam for recording a trip, making it all the more enticing for those who love adventures.
Color Options
But the Venue Adventure Edition will be offered in as few as four monotone color options: Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White and Titan Grey. Dual-tones will include a Ranger Khaki version whose roof will get painted black and will be offered only on the top trims at ₹15,000 over the standard price.
Engine and Performance
The Adventure Edition will be available with two petrol engine options.
- A 1.2-litre, 83-hp naturally aspirated engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, which comes in the S(O)+ and SX trims.
- The more powerful 1.0-liter, 120-hp turbo-petrol motor is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and will be available exclusively in the SX(O) version.
Both are firmed up for silky smooth running in urban areas and the odd long road journey. While many may be disappointed by the lack of a diesel variant, the available petrol variants pack in just the right amount of punch and efficiency.
Price
The Venue Adventure Edition is priced a bit more than the regular variant, for these added features and unique looks. The prices are quoted (ex-showroom):
- 1.2-liter Petrol MT S(O)+: ₹10.15 lakh
- 1.2-liter Petrol MT SX: ₹11.21 lakh
- 1.0-liter Turbo-petrol DCT SX(O): ₹13.38 lakh.
