Jaipur. After the Jaipur city of Rajasthan, now the common man in Jaipur rural will also get the benefit of the Indira Gandhi kitchen scheme of the Rajasthan government.
Institutions and NGOs have been selected from the proposals received in the EoI for the operation of the kitchens in the District Level Coordination and Monitoring Committee meeting chaired by District Collector Prakash Rajpurohit.
Mr. Rajpurohit said that 83 new Indira Kitchens will soon be started in Jaipur rural areas to provide pure, tasty and nutritious food to every needy person at just Rs.8.
He said that Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot’s intention is that no one sleeps hungry. To fulfill this intention, Municipal Corporation Jaipur Heritage has selected the governing body to open 83 new Indira Kitchens in the towns under its jurisdiction.
