New Delhi: As the audience eagerly waits to witness the Spider-Man mania in ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’, the film has already created massive buzz globally with excellent early reviews. is Indian audiences are delighted with the special entry of the first Indian Spider-Man, Pavitra Prabhakar and Karan Soni of Deadpool fame, who voiced Pavitra Prabhakar in the original film, said how people reached out to him not to mess it up.

Speaking about the public response to voicing for Pavitra Prabhakar and dubbing the film in nine Indian languages, Karan Soni shared, “I think it’s very exciting that the film is being dubbed in nine Indian languages. It’s very exciting because I grew up in India, and we absolutely love Spider-Man. When it was announced that I was playing him, I can’t tell you how many messages I got from people. At first, they were just upbeat, and then there were some more serious messages, mainly, ‘don’t mess it up’. I don’t think we did!”

The makers recently announced that Indian cricketer Shubman Gill will be voiced by Pavitra Prabhakar in the Hindi and Punjabi versions of the film. The news took social media by storm, making fans even more excited to rejoin the Spider-Man universe.

Sony Pictures Entertainment India releases ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi and Bengali on June 1, 2023, exclusively in cinemas.
