New Delhi Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy Governor V.K. Hitting out at Saxena on Wednesday, he said criminals in the national capital were “fearless” and people were “losing faith” in the police.
He said that the governor should fulfill his constitutional duties instead of playing politics. Ever since Saxena assumed the post of governor in May last year, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Delhi has faced many issues related to governance. There is a dispute about and decision making.
Kejriwal tweeted, “There are daily reports of crime in Delhi. Criminals are becoming fearless, public is losing faith in the police. Deputy Governor sir, take time and see how scared the people are. People don’t want politics, they want work, they want security. Instead of playing politics, please do what the constitution has entrusted you with. There was no immediate reaction from the lieutenant governor’s office.
