Laapataa Ladies: India’s Official Entry for Oscars 2025
Bollywood has once again made its way to the Oscars. Kiran Rao’s film Laapataa Ladies has won everyone’s heart and now this film has become India’s official entry for Oscars 2025. This is indeed big and happy news for the creators and the actors who put their blood, sweat and tears into the movie. This film is a comedy-drama that tells the story of two new brides who get swapped in a train while going to their husband’s house.
Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Srivastava and Nitanshi Goel have given wonderful performances in the film. This film was released on 1 March 2024 and since then it has received positive reviews from both audiences and critics.
