Bhopal. The sixth Mango Festival will be held from June 8 to 12 to promote mango growing tribal farmers under the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) project “Apani Wadi”.
According to a statement issued by NABARD, various varieties of mangoes such as Sundarja, Kesar, Chausa, Langra and Dussehri produced under the Wadi Project will be available for sale across the state on this occasion.
It may be noted that NABARD is a dedicated apex bank/institution to strengthen and prosper agriculture and rural economy and for this purpose, the bank established the Tribal Development Fund as an important initiative in 2003-04. is
Under this fund, NABARD has so far sanctioned 99 projects in Madhya Pradesh benefiting more than 77000 families. help to increase Preventing migration for employment in the concerned area.
