MediaTek Dimensity 9350 Set to Rival Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Elite in Mid-Range Smartphones
MediaTek has prepared for the launch of its new processor Dimensity 9350. This chip is designed to give tough competition to Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 8s Elite (SM8735) in the mid-range smartphone segment.
Recently, famous tech blogger Digital Chat Station informed that MediaTek will bring this chip to the market soon. Dimensity 9350 is considered to be an option between Dimensity 9300 and Dimensity 9400. However, so far MediaTek has not shared any official information about the exact performance and capacity of this chip.
On the other hand, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Elite processor is said to be better than Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in terms of performance and slightly weaker than Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. According to another information, this processor has also been tested in a small tablet. Although the exact size of the tablet is not yet clear, it is said to be around 8 inches.
This competition between MediaTek and Qualcomm can bring new possibilities in the mid-range smartphone processor market. According to tech experts, Dimensity 9350 is expected to have better balanced performance and lower price, which can make it an attractive option for smartphone manufacturers.
