New Delhi: Days after winning the IIFA Award for her role in ‘Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva’, Mouni Roy, along with her entrepreneur husband Sooraj Nambiar, threw open the doors of their newly opened restaurant ‘Badmaash’ for an evening with industry friends. The actress looked stunning in a little black dress as she posed with her BFF Disha Patani who looked snazzy in a little blue dress.

Mouni was joined by Tejashwi Prakash, Karan Kundra, Remo D’Souza and others along with many of his friends from the industry at Badmaash last night.
‘Badmash’ is a new multi-outlet restaurant chain owned by Bengaluru entrepreneur Dawn Thomas. Mouni is the co-owner of Andheri-based Mumbai Restaurant. Its food offering is described as progressive Indian cuisine and its wildlife-inspired decor and prices are decidedly high. From street food, such as Parsley and Kaffir Lime Kanda Bhajia, Tograshi and Jalapeno Sabudana Vada, and Bird’s Eye Chilli and Crispy Avocado Bhel, to cocktails with imaginative names, notably ‘Pushpa 3 The Cocktail’, ‘Shamile Nakhre’ ‘, ‘Genda Phool’, ‘Rolex Ka Maal’, and of course, ‘Monilicious’, a blend of gin and elderflower juice, flavored with curry leaves.
According to IANS, of all the dishes on the menu, Mouni’s favorite is the southern-style mushrooms fried with milagu (black pepper) and served with crisps made with shimji (a type of mushroom that has become very popular). The less adventurous can opt for one of the Avadhi and Lucknow biryani, but the menu is stacked with progressive Indian surprises.
On the work front, Mouni will next be seen in the upcoming sci-fi horror comedy The Virgin Tree alongside actors Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Singh and Palak Tiwari. Directed by Siddhant Sachdev, the official release date of the film is still awaited.
On the other hand, Disha will next be seen in ‘Yodha’ opposite Sidharth Malhotra and Raashi Khanna. She also has ‘Project K’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone and an untitled Siva film in her pipeline.
