MP: Two tiger cubs born in Panna Tiger Reserve

Page (MP). A tigress has given birth to two cubs in Madhya Pradesh’s Panna Tiger Reserve. An official gave this information on Wednesday.

Panna Tiger Reserve Field Director Brijendra Jha said tiger P-234 was recently spotted with two cubs in the sanctuary’s Akola buffer zone. He said that the children are four months old and are healthy.

Another tigress P-234 (23) was also seen with her two cubs in the first week of May, Jha said. “Thus birth of four cubs has been reported in Panna Tiger Reserve this month,” he said.

He said that according to the previous count, the number of tigers in Panna Tiger Reserve was 78. Madhya Pradesh has six tiger reserves, including Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Satpura, Pench, Panna and Sanjay-Dubri.
