It is the dream of every parent that their children can read and write in such a way that their future is secure. It is reasonable for every parent to think so. In today’s date, the competition to get ahead of each other, in such an environment, every parent puts pressure on their children from childhood to excel in studies. Due to this, children do not pay attention to extra-curricular activities in school. The film ‘Music School’ is based on this theme.
The film ‘Music School’ begins with a children’s school. School children consider subjects like music a waste of time due to academic pressure. Shreya Saran plays a music teacher in the film who inspires children to learn music. Despite his best efforts, the children refuse to come to music class. Sharman Joshi teaches acting to children in this school. On Sharman Joshi’s advice, Shriya Saran opened a music school in her community. After the opening of the music school, whether the children go to school or not, the entire story of the film revolves around this.
The film ‘Music School’ is a children’s film, but it looks less like a children’s film and more like a childhood film. The film deviates from the original issue and gets stuck on Shriya Saran and Sharman Joshi’s romance. The acting teaser has a past of his own, his wife has passed away and he lives with his daughter. Singer Shaan plays the role of the ex-boyfriend of the music teaser. Before the release of the film, singer Shaan had revealed in an interview that he has a very powerful role in the film but his role in the film was limited to only five minutes.
A good subject as well as a good choice of actors for the film is essential to make any good film. Shriya Saran as the music teacher and Sharman Joshi as the acting teacher did not work at all. Apart from Hindi, this film is also made in Tamil and Telugu, so the director of the film, Paparao Byala, has selected the cast of the film accordingly. Shriya Saran and Prakash Raj are the big names of South Industry. Everyone knows Sharman Joshi and Shaan of Hindi cinema. In place of these faces, producer-director Paparao Biala should have replaced them with faces that suited the story and the character, even if they were not new faces.
There are a total of 11 songs in the film named ‘Music School’ but these songs only become a hindrance in the story. Out of the 11 songs in the film, eight songs are composed by Ilayaraja, the remaining three songs are taken from the Hollywood film ‘Sound of Music’ but none of the songs in the film is one that you would love to listen to again and again.
