New BMW X7 Signature Edition Launched in India: Price, Features, and More
BMW has launched the X7 Signature Edition SUV in India, which expands upon its luxury SUV portfolio. The new special edition comes with elegance, luxury, and performance, making it a highly anticipated launch. Let’s talk about its details.
Price & Availability
The BMW X7 Signature Edition starts at โน1.33 crore (ex-showroom) โ โน3 lakh more than the X7 xDrive40i variant. Limited units of the Signature Edition will be made locally at the BMW Chennai plant, which is only available through the BMW online platform.
Specific Design Features
In order to differentiate the Signature Edition from the standard model, there are design features that make it unique. The car will be available in two exclusive colours; Tanzanite Blue and Dravit Grey. The exterior will have crystal headlamps with Swarovski glass-cut crystals, along with satin aluminum roof rails. The rear of the car receives new redesigned 3D taillights with new graphics and a chrome bar that is covered with smoked glass to appear sophisticated.
Inside the vehicle, the cabin has Merino leather upholstery, and leather-wrapped instrument panels, which are identified by crystal door pins. The Alcantara headrests give the car its premium feel, along with premium finishes on the dashboard.
Performance and Powertrain
Under the hood, the X7 Signature Edition is powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. The engine puts out 375 hp (381 PS) and 520 Nm with a zero to 100 km/h time of 5.8 seconds. Power goes through an 8-speed automatic transmission with BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system.
Technologies and Characteristics
The Signature Edition is equipped with the most advanced technology, including the BMW Curved Display, which includes a 14.9-inch touchscreen, in addition to a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster on the dashboard. Other distinctive features we must mention include a panoramic sunroof, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, ambient lighting with fourteen internal colors, and a heads-up display. The spacious SUV has a luggage capacity of an amazing 2,120 liters with rear captain seats that can be split for added convenience.
