Nora Fatehi on playing Helen in her biopic: ‘It would be an honour’

Nora Fatehi has carved her own niche in the industry. No wonder she has emerged as one of the most popular artists of all time, winning over a million hearts. Nora has garnered praise from both the audience and her industry colleagues for her amazing dancing skills. Doing it again, Nora wowed the audience at IIFA 2023 after paying tribute to legendary actress Helen. Nora danced to some of her popular songs like ‘Piya Tu’ and ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ during her non-stop 10-minute performance, leaving the audience spellbound. Now, Nora has expressed her desire to act in a biopic of the legendary actress.

In an interview with the BBC Asian Network, Nora Fatehi said that it would be an “honour” if she were offered the chance to play Helen in his biopic.

Nora Fatehi wants to play Helen?

In the interview, Nora explained about her IIFA performance that she did a lot of homework before stepping into Helen’s shoes for the event. From studying Helen’s videos to watching her expressions, Nora admits to taking deep notes before the performance. “I had to be feminine, I had to calm down, I had to be very flirty and I had to own it,” she added.

When asked if she would like to play Helen in her own biopic, Nora Fatehi called it an “honour”. Nora said, “It would be an honor, I mean, if filmmakers ever think of me. Because we have so many things in common. She comes from a different country and so do I. We both identify with dance. through the world.” And we’ve changed what dance means in cinema. It seems we are mirroring each other. I think I’ll be able to really relate to that.”
