New Delhi: Megastar K. Chiranjeevi said on Sunday that legendary actor and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N.T. Rama Rao will always live in the hearts of people.

On NTR’s birth centenary, Chiranjeevi paid a grand tribute to him. The actor took to Twitter to recall the services of NTR, who founded the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in 1982 on the slogan of Telugu self-respect.

Writing about NTR, Chiranjeevi observed that he was one in a million. “Not 100 years, he will live in our hearts forever. History will proudly tell its story about him to future generations,” wrote Chiranjeevi.

The megastar said that NTR was ready to fulfill a purpose. He added, “I will always remember my association with Shri Nandamuri Tarkaram Rao, who made the Telugu people proud.”

It is to be noted that like NTR, Chiranjeevi also entered the politics of Andhra Pradesh. He formed the Praja Rajam Party (PRP) in 2008 and was hoping to recreate the NTR magic. However, his political journey ended in failure.

After failing to make a mark in the 2009 elections, Chiranjeevi later merged the PRP with the Congress Party and became a Rajya Sabha member. He served as the Congress-led UPA at the Center from 2012 to 2014. Served as Minister in Govt. After the Congress party’s embarrassment in the 2014 elections following the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, he distanced himself from politics and became active once again. the movies
