The ‘SE’ tag in the name suggests that it will be an affordable device. As per reports, the tablet is expected to launch first in China. Its key highlights will likely include a new processor and a large battery.
Dimensity G100: An upgrade to the Helio G series?
MediaTek’s Helio G series is already well-known for powering budget smartphones and tablets. The new Dimensity G100 chipset, which may power the Oppo Pad SE, is expected to be the next version of the Helio G series. It is also likely to support 5G connectivity, making the Oppo Pad SE more future-ready.
Some tech experts speculate that this new chipset could be a rebranded version of an older Helio processor, marketed under the Dimensity name to improve appeal.
