If media reports are to be believed, now the farmers will not have to pay any money to get a certified copy of all land records, including deposit and girdavari of their fields. Farmers will now get all this for free. Not only this, the measurement for limit knowledge will also be free.

According to reports, settlement records can now also be obtained free of charge from the Settlement Commissioner. It should be said that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had announced this in the budget. Also, now the Patwaris will have to issue a certified printed copy of the land record in addition to the settlement record. The Patwari will make this document available free of cost to the farmers within 3 days of application.
