Rajasthan: Gehlot approves Rs 31.14 crore financial proposal for enhanced water supply in Ajmer

Jaipur. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has sanctioned Rs 31.14 crore for further strengthening of water supply system in Ajmer and Rs 2.21 crore for beautification of Dudia pond in Sirohi and construction of ghat near Isbor Mahadev temple.

With this approval of Mr. Gehlot, pipeline related and other necessary works will be done in Ajmer. Under the Ajmer Water Supply Scheme, Rs 12 crore will be spent in the year 2023-24, Rs 16 crore in the year 2024-25 and Rs 3.14 crore in the year 2025-26.

It is worth mentioning that this was announced by the Chief Minister in the budget of the year 2023-24. Similarly, with the approval of 2.21 crore rupees, the tourism department will beautify the Dudia pond in Sirohi district. Along with this, a ghat will also be constructed near Isbor Mahadev Temple in the district.

With this sanctioned amount, construction of Dudia Pond ghat, statue fountain, platform, main wall, patching work, railings, road lights and other works will be done. It will cost Rs 1.62 crore. Main wall, platform, sculptures, railings, check dam will be constructed and beautified at the ghat near Isbor Mahadev (Positara Gram Panchayat Sanpur) temple in the district. Out of this, Rs 59.48 lakh will be spent.
