Sara Ali Khan hits back at trolls for posting hateful comments on Ujjain’s Mahakal temple visit, says ‘I believe in energy’

Indore: After being trolled over her recent pilgrimage to Ujjain’s Mahakal temple, Sara Ali Khan broke her silence and gave a stern reply to the sloganeering. During the press conference of her upcoming film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, she said, “I take my work very seriously. I work for the people, for you. If you don’t like my work, I will feel bad. But my personal beliefs are mine. My own. I will go to Ajmer Sharif with the same reverence with which I would go to Bangla Sahib or Mahakal. I will keep going. I have no problem with what people say. You have to like the energy of a place. Yes. I believe in energy. This is not the first time the ‘Gaslight’ actor has been trolled for visiting temples.

Recently, after visiting the Mahadev temple, he faced criticism on social media. Earlier today, Sara performed pooja at the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh. He also participated in ‘Bhasam Aarti’ on this occasion. Bhasam Aarti (offering with bones) is a famous ritual here. This is done during the Brahm Muhurat between 4 am and 5:30 am.

Following the temple tradition, she wore a pink saree during the ‘Bhasam Aarti’. Saree is mandatory for women in Bhasam Aarti.

During the Bhasam Aarti, he sat in the Nandihall of the temple and prayed. Sara also performed ‘jalabhishek’ inside the sanctum sanctorum. It may be mentioned that this was not the first time that she visited the Mahakal temple, Sara came here many times and worshiped Baba Mahakal.
