Skoda is preparing to introduce a brand-new subcompact SUV called the Skoda Kylaq as part of attempts to establish itself in the cut-throat Indian market. The Skoda Kylaq has been developed as a newer version of the Kushaq and Slavia due to it being constructed on the same MQB-A0-IN platform. The Kylaq is scheduled to launch on November 6, 2024, with its official launch to be planned in early 2025. The Kylaq will compete with established models in the Indian market, which includes the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, and the Hyundai Venue.
