Sonam Kapoor has congratulated Swara Bhaskar on her pregnancy

Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar announced her first pregnancy with husband Fahad Ahmed on Tuesday. The couple tied the knot earlier this year, and Swara had earlier shared a heart-warming video on social media documenting their court marriage. The news of her pregnancy has delighted fans, family members and friends, who have been showering the couple with wishes and well wishes. Swara’s dear friend and “Veere Di Wedding” co-star Sonam Kapoor was also among the congratulators.

Sonam took to her Instagram Stories to repost Swara’s announcement and added a sweet message, “Congratulations Swara Bhaskar. I’m so happy for you both!”

Reacting to her post, Swara re-shared it with a text, “Thank you Sonam maasi.”

Sonam and Swara are known to be close friends and have also worked in the 2018 film “Veere Di Wedding” opposite Kareena Kapoor-Khan.

Many celebrities like Gauahar Khan, Guneet Monga, Richa Chadha and Sumeet Vyas also shared their congratulatory messages for the couple.

Swara announced her pregnancy on Instagram on Tuesday with a heart-warming post. “Sometimes all your prayers are answered! Blessed, grateful, excited (and clueless!) as we step into a whole new world!” she wrote, adding that the baby is due in October.

Marriage of Swara Bhaskar and Fahad Ahmed

The Bollywood actress married Samajwadi Party member Fahad Ahmed in a court marriage under the Special Marriage Act in January this year.

In January this year, Swara got married to Samajwadi Party member Fahad in a court marriage conducted under the Special Marriage Act. He expressed his gratitude to his family and friends for their love and support.

“So blessed to be supported and cheered by the love of family and friends! Wearing my mother’s saree and her jewellery.. made Fahad Ahmed Rang 🙂 and we registered under the #SpecialMarriageAct. Now to prepare for the lavish wedding,” he wrote.

After this, the couple performed all the wedding rituals including haldi, mehndi and music. They also hosted a lavish reception for their friends and family, attended by many high-profile guests.
