Sports update: The ‘transfer window’ for the new football season will begin on June 9.

New Delhi The All India Football Federation (AIFF) on Wednesday announced that the ‘transfer window’ (player selection process) for professional clubs for the upcoming season will be from June 9 to August 31.

The upcoming season of Indian football will start from June 1 and will continue till May 31 next year. The AIFF said that professional clubs across the country will be given two opportunities to register their players. The second window for registration of professional players will be from January 1 to January 31 next year. Male and female players can be registered in these ‘windows’.

On the other hand, the registration for male and female amateur players will start from June 1 and end on May 31, 2024. Indian Football Calendar includes Indian Super League, I-League, Santosh Trophy, Senior Women’s National Football Championship, Junior National Championship (for different age groups). Men’s and Women’s), Youth League (in different age groups), State League and Indian Women’s League.
