Stree 2 film update: Will not make ‘Stree 2’ under pressure – Rajkumar Rao

Abu Dhabi Actor Rajkumar Rao says the second installment of his successful horror-comedy “Stree” will be made with the same sincerity and love with which the original was made.

Starring Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana and Shraddha Kapoor, the film was one of the most successful and critically acclaimed films of 2018. The makers had confirmed the sequel of the film with director Amar Kaushik last month.

“‘Stree’ is very special to all of us,” Rao told PTI on the sidelines of the IIFA Rocks Awards ceremony on Friday. Amar and I discussed that we will not buckle under pressure. We will make it with the same sincerity and love with which we made the first volume. We will maintain the same integrity in the second part as well.”
