Kaushambi (Uttar Pradesh). A person was allegedly beaten to death with sticks and rods due to a land dispute in the Kokhraj police station area of ​​Kaushambi district in Uttar Pradesh.

Police station in-charge Vinod Kumar Maurya said that Munnalal (50) of Kaushambi had bought four and a half bighas of land in Naudhia village of Kokhraj police station area, over which a dispute was going on between Munnalal, a resident of Naudhia village, and Ramchandra and Roopchand. That Munnalal’s land was to be enumerated today, so when he reached there, Ramchandra and Roopchand were already there.

He said that an argument broke out between the two parties and then Ramchandra and Roopchand beat Munnalal with rods and sticks, due to which Munnalal died on the spot. He said that Munnalal’s family has filed a complaint. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. Efforts are being made to arrest the accused.
