UP Accident: Two youths died, one was seriously injured in a road accident in Amethi

Amethi (UP) Two youths were killed and another seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision on the Sultanpur-Lucknow highway in Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi district.

The police gave this information on Tuesday. The police said that the accident took place late on Monday night near Dharoli village in Musafirkhana police station area when a speeding jeep rammed a vehicle parked on the roadside in front of Hanumant Kripa petrol pump from behind. Two youths died in this collision.

Three youths were traveling from Sultanpur to Lucknow in a jeep. Police said that one of the deceased has been identified as Sheelu Kumar (27), while the identity of the other is yet to be ascertained. The injured youth has been admitted to the hospital. Musafirkhana police officer Gaurav Singh said that both bodies have been sent for post-mortem. Legal action is being taken in this regard.
