UP: Two smugglers arrested with 53 grams of smack

Bahraich. The Uttar Pradesh Police arrested two smugglers along with 53 grams of smack worth around Rs 5.30 crore from Dargah Sharif police station area of ​​Bahraich district on Wednesday on the information of an informer.

Additional Superintendent of Police Kunwar Gyananjay Singh said on Thursday that on the basis of the information received from the informer, the patrolling police nabbed two drug smugglers near Gulabir railway crossing in Mansoorganj area of ​​Dargah Sharif police station area.

According to Singh, the arrested accused Shahid is a resident of Mansoorganj area of ​​Bahraich city, while Manoj is a resident of nearby Sharavasti district. He said that 25 grams of smack was recovered from Shahid’s possession and 28 grams from Manoj.

According to Singh, the price of 53 grams of smack recovered from both sides has been said to be around 5 crore 30 lakh rupees in the international market. He said that the police is investigating the matter and trying to find out from which source these youths got the smack.
