UP: A woman riding a motorcycle died after being hit by an unidentified vehicle

Sultanpur. A 45-year-old woman riding a motorcycle was killed while her husband was seriously injured after being hit by an unidentified vehicle on the Ayodhya-Prayagaraj national highway in Uttar Pradesh.

Kurebhar station in-charge Praveen Yadav said on Thursday that the woman and her husband were going to the market on a motorcycle when an unidentified vehicle hit them near Patna village.

According to Yadav, the local people rushed the injured couple to the Medical College Hospital, where the doctors declared the woman dead, while the condition of her husband is said to be critical. Yadav said that the dead woman’s body has been sent for post-mortem. And the search for the unidentified driver continues.
