Shimla. Actress Vaibhavi Upadhyay of the TV serial “Sarabhai Vam Sarabhai” died in a road accident in Himachal Pradesh on Monday. The police gave this information on Wednesday.

Kullu Superintendent of Police (SP) Sakshi Verma told PTI that the accident took place in a barren area of ​​Kullu district when Vaibhavi Upadhyay, who was traveling with her fiancé, lost control on a bend and fell into a ravine. He PTI told that he got out of the vehicle through the window, due to which he suffered a head injury, which proved fatal, while the other passenger escaped unhurt.

Varma said that the funeral of the actress will be held on Wednesday in Mumbai, the producer of “Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai” J.D. Majithia shared the news of Vaibhavi Upadhyay’s demise on his Instagram account on Wednesday morning. He wrote, “Life is so unpredictable. Vaibhavi Upadhyay, a great actress, dear friend passed away. She is known as ‘Jasmine’ of ‘Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai’. He died in an accident in the northern state.”

‘Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai’ actors Satish Shah, Deven Bhojani, Rupali Ganguly, Sumeet Raghavan also paid tribute to the late actress on social media.
Vaibhavi also acted in Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Chhapaak’ and TV shows ‘CID’ and ‘Adalat’.
