Mumbai: A day after tying the knot in Mumbai, couple Sonali Segal and Ashesh Sajnani hosted a lavish wedding reception for their loved ones on Thursday. The couple posed for the shutterbugs before heading to the venue. Sonali looked stunning in a shimmering silver lehenga. On the other hand, Ashish opted for a black and white outfit.
In the pictures, this couple is shining a lot. The post-wedding function was attended by many celebrities like Sumona Chakraborty, Rajkumar Rao, Patralekha, Sunny Singh and Luv Ranjan.
Sonali and Ashesh exchanged vows at a gurdwara in Mumbai’s Santa Cruz West on Wednesday. They opted for a daytime wedding. For the special day, Sonali wore a pastel pink saree. She accentuated her bridal look with pink bangles, silver necklaces and silver diamond jewellery.
Ashish wore an off-white sherwani. She paired her outfit with a pink turban. Sharing the first official pictures from the wedding, Sonali wrote on Instagram, “Patience and gratitude.”
As Sonali shared the pictures, netizens and members of the film industry flooded the comment section with wishes. “Huge congratulations,” one social media user commented. “Omg congrats you look amazing,” wrote another.
Fashion designer Manish Malhotra commented, “Congratulations.” Sonali definitely grabbed everyone’s attention with her bridal entry. She walked under a canopy of flowers with her pets. The who’s who of Bollywood including Karthik Aryan, Sunny Singh, director Luv Ranjan, Shama Sikandar, Mandira Bedi and Rai Lakshmi attended the wedding.
Karthik wore a white kurta with jeans and a pair of colored sunglasses, looking dapper and stylish as always. Many fans called the wedding a “Pyar Ka Panchana Reunion”.
Sonali and Ashesh were dating for a long time. The couple had never spoken about each other before the news of their marriage surfaced.
Sonali shot to fame in 2011 with her role in Luv Ranjan’s Pyar Ka Panchanama. Before entering the film industry, she was a ramp model and had also participated in the Miss India Worldwide pageant. After appearing in ‘Pyar Ka Panchnaama’, she appeared in several other films like ‘High Jack’, ‘Ishq Da Rog’ and ‘Jai Maa Di’.
