Vivo V50 Official Teaser Released, Launch Coming Soon with Stunning Camera

Vivo V50

Vivo has released the first official teaser for its new smartphone, the Vivo V50, in the Indian market. Although the launch date has not been revealed, the company has teased the phone by sharing a post on X (formerly Twitter). Vivo V-series is usually known as camera-centric smartphones, and this time too the company has hinted at giving a great camera experience with the tagline “Capture Your Forever”.

Design and Expected Specifications of Vivo V50

The design of the Vivo V50 can be inferred from a recently leaked poster. The back panel of the phone features a pill-shaped camera module housing two image sensors. A special highlight is the Rose Red color variant, reportedly inspired by Indian weddings, which looks very attractive.

Although Vivo has not yet revealed the official specifications, this smartphone could be a rebranded version of the Vivo S20, which was launched in China in December 2024. Previously, many V-series models have been global versions of S-series devices, and this is likely the case again.

If the Vivo V50 shares the same specifications as the Vivo S20, it will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For performance, it may be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 2.2 storage.

Talking about the camera, the Vivo S20 has a 50MP autofocus selfie camera, 50MP OIS supported primary camera and 8MP ultra-wide lens. If the Vivo V50 features the same setup, it could be an excellent choice for photography enthusiasts.

The Vivo V50 is expected to pack a large 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. This could make it one of the longest-lasting smartphones in its segment.

Launch Date

Vivo has yet to reveal the launch date, but with official teasers and multiple leaks surfacing, the Vivo V50 launch seems imminent.
