Xiaomi 16 Pro, 16 Ultra to Feature 6.85-inch Flat Display, Leaks Reveal

Xiaomi is going to launch its Xiaomi 15 series in the global market on March 2, but leaks have already started coming about the subsequent Xiaomi 16 series. According to the latest information, Xiaomi 16 Pro and 16 Ultra are expected to feature a 6.85-inch flat LTPO OLED display, which will support 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

According to leakster Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi 16 Pro will have very thin and uniform bezels. LIPO technology is expected to be used in this phone, ensuring a sleeker and more premium screen design. Reports suggest that the Xiaomi 16 Pro will have thinner bezels than the iPhone 16 Pro, with side bezels of 1.44mm and top and bottom bezels of 1.41mm.
Xiaomi 16 Ultra is also expected to feature the same display size
Xiaomi’s previous flagship phones like 12 Pro and 12S Ultra, 13 Pro and 13 Ultra, 14 Pro and 14 Ultra had the same screen size. Looking at the same pattern, it is expected that Xiaomi 16 Ultra will also come with a 6.85-inch flat display.
Launch Timeline and Processor
Xiaomi 16 Pro can be launched with Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset in October 2025. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 16 Ultra is expected to launch in the first half of 2026 with the same processor.
According to tech leakers, many flagship smartphones coming in 2025 will be launched with a completely flat screen design. Another recent report said that all the models of the Oppo Find X9 series will also come with flat displays. In such a situation, Xiaomi 16 Ultra is also likely to come with a flat panel.
