Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 Secures EEC Certification, Set for European Launch
The international version of Xiaomi’s Mix Flip 2 foldable phone is now ready to launch in the European market. This phone has recently been listed under EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) certification. This certification was issued on 25 December 2024 with the model number “2505APX7BG”. The certification number is “KZ0000009541”, and it will be valid till 31 December 2034.
This confirms that the Mix Flip 2 will be available in the European market. However, this certification document does not provide any other information related to the specifications or features of the phone.
Two Models Listed in GSMA IMEI Database
Earlier, in August 2024, two variants of Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 were seen in the GSMA IMEI database. Among these, the model was “2505APX7BC” for the China version and “2505APX7BG” for the international version. The “C” in the model number means China and “G” means global version.
This foldable phone is believed to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition chipset. There are indications about the release timeline of Mix Flip 2 that its preview will start in January 2025, official launch in February 2025, and it may be available for sale by May 2025.
Situation Unclear Regarding Launch in India
Xiaomi did not launch its first Mix Flip in India. In such a situation, the situation is not clear yet about the launch of Mix Flip 2 in India.
Xiaomi’s foldable phone has already created a buzz in the tech world. With the EEC listing of Mix Flip 2 and indications of the global version, this phone is ready to make its presence felt in European and other international markets.
