Adobe to End 20GB Photography Plan Globally, Price Hike for Existing Users
Adobe has recently announced that it is going to discontinue its 20GB Creative Cloud Photography Plan from January 15, 2025. This decision has been taken for international markets, and after this the company will only provide 1TB Creative Cloud Photography Plan.
However, existing customers who are using the 20GB plan can continue it. But after January 15, 2025, they will have to pay $14.99 per month for this plan. Currently, the 20GB Creative Cloud Photography Plan costs $9.99 per month. This means that the price will increase by about 50%.
This plan includes software like Photoshop and Lightroom and Creative Cloud cloud storage. The purpose of this move by Adobe is believed to be to promote the 1TB Creative Cloud Photography Plan. The 1TB plan is currently priced at $19.99 per month.
This decision of Adobe may affect photographers and designers who preferred to use smaller storage plans. But the company has clarified that existing customers can continue their subscription, although they will have to pay more after the new price comes into effect.
This change is especially important for those users who use Adobe’s tools for their professional or personal work. New and old customers will have to consider their subscription plans according to this change.
