Honor Magic 6 and Magic 5 Series to Get YaGu Portrait Feature by January 2025
Honor has shared information about its MagicOS 9.0 upgrade and announced new features and updates for the Magic 6 and Magic 5 series smartphones. This upgrade is going to bring many new experiences to the users.
Launch of YaGu Portrait function
The YaGu Portrait function in the Magic 6 series will be launched by the end of December 2024. It is a classic French portrait photography style, which will be introduced through the Honor Hawkeye camera and AI-enabled light and shadow enhancement algorithm. This feature will be available in the Magic 5 series by January 2025.
“YOYO Intelligent Body” feature
YOYO Intelligent Agent is an AI-enabled feature that integrates capabilities such as scene perception, user understanding and task execution. This feature will be rolled out in the Magic 6 and Magic 5 series by December 2024. At the same time, foldable phones like Magic V3, Magic Vs3 and Magic V2 will get this support till January 2025.
Honor Digital Human
Honor Digital Human is a cutting-edge feature that integrates capabilities such as 3D rendering, camera face driving and dynamic video production. This feature will be rolled out in Magic 6 and Magic 5 series by December 2024.
Application Volume Adjustment
Honor has developed a feature to independently control application volume keeping in mind the needs of users. This feature will be rolled out in MagicOS 9.0 by January 2025.
Other Improvements of MagicOS 9.0 Update
- The zoom effect of the wallpaper on the lock screen has been removed, but this option is still available for custom wallpapers.
- Regarding the complaints of increased power consumption, it has been told that after the system upgrade, background optimization and AI learning may increase battery consumption slightly, which will return to normal in 2-3 days.
